I am not talking just about affiliate programs that have paid me a few hundred here and there. These have all personally made me lots of money in the past, so much so that I was able to give up my job and live from what these affiliate programs pay me. These all work and work well! With a little effort from you, these webmaster affiliate programs will pay for anything from the beers on Friday night, to everything you can imagine.
I will be honest and say, the more effort you put in, the more you will get back, but it is all VERY possible no matter what other people will tell you. It may not happen over night for you, but in time it will. It did for me and I have not looked back since.
One rule I always try to follow is - Good surfers are worth keeping, so make something for them.
What do I mean by this? Simple, make a site that a surfer will want to bookmark. One that he will want to come back to and click on all the links you have to offer. If you have a site with little on it, or really bad colours or design, he will probably give your site a miss next time. Just something to think about when making an affiliate site. You want people to come back, and you want people to tell others about your site.

Hardcore Affiliate Programs
What does all this mean?
I am sure you are wondering what PPS, Rev Share, Re bill and such all mean. Well these all have to do with what type of affiliate program you have, or would like to have if you have the choice. Re bill is where a surfer becomes a member of a site, then stays a member for the next month. Most sites will give you a % in $s when he joins, then an additional % in $s next month if he is still with them. For example, you send a surfer to Met Art, they buy a membership for $30, you straight away get 50% of that which is $15! Easy huh! He then stays a member for the following 6 months (many do once they see how good these sites are) so you now get 6 * $15 which is $90. That means you got an easy $105 just from sending one surfer to Met Art. It really is that easy to be an affiliate.
Rev Share and PPS (Pay Per Signup) is a little more tricky and mainly offered by the live web cam sites. Rev Share means you get a % of any money they spend on the site for life, or as long as the cookie lasts. This depends on which site you are promoting and they all seem to do it different. PPS is simple. They pay you a $ amount for every person that buys with them. This is a one time only payout and usually has other conditions built in, like they have never bought before. As an affiliate you will have to decide which is better for you, but I would recommend Rev Share ALWAYS. The reason... many people buy more than once. Although it may seem you are going to get more from PPS, in the long run you will get more from people buying multiple times. I will use AWE as an example here. If a surfer buys 3 * credits worth $69.99 each with them under a PPS program you will get a straight $40, BUT if they have bought before, or even been on the site before, you will get nothing. It has to be a totally clean and new surfer. If you sent that person under the Rev Share affiliate program and he bought the same 3 * $69.99 credits, you would have ended up with nearly $63 WITH the potential to earn more. Now imagine he bought 10 times, or even 3 * $159.99 credits. You would have lost a lot.
The different 'Paid Through' names all mean something. Basically these all mean who is going to be sending you your easy earned money, I mean hard earned money! You will have seen CCBill up there a lot, they are one of the main payment processors for the adult affiliate programs on the net. Other sites will have their own internal billing and payment systems which is why I have listed them above. Why does this all matter? Well all the affiliate programs you sign up for will make you earn a certain amount before they will send you a cheque (or bank wire, epassporte payment, payoneer payment, etc). This is usually around $50, but different sites have different amounts so check first. Still wondering why it matters? well imagine you choose 5 different affiliate programs to promote and they all have their own payment systems, you would have to earn $50 of the programs before you get a payment. This may take a while, but you will get there and after a while you will be hitting the $50 with ease. The advantage of CCBill is they pay you, not the individual sites. So if you promote 5 affiliate programs that pay though CCBill, then your earnings from all 5 sites count to the $25 which is the standard minimum payment that CCBill sets. Much easier to hit and it means you will get paid quicker. This also means you will not loose enthusiasm as the cheques will keep you going, rather than seeing your earnings slowly go up in each account to $50. As you will find it is also dead easy to sign up to affiliate programs that use CCBill after the first one as you can use the same details.
For example, and you can do this as we go if you like -
Click here and go to the Met Art sign up page. At the top you will see a link that says SIGNUP. Click that and you will go to this page. Most affiliate programs that use CCBill will have forms just like this, so you will see this a lot. If you already had a CCBill affiliate account you could just enter your details in the 3 boxes and it will pull your information out and sign you up. Simple as that! but as you have not yet, click the 'Create New Account' button. You will now be taken to a very simple form that will set you up with an affiliate account in CCBill. This will be your main account and all the other affiliate programs you sign up with can be merged into this one. So fill out the form and click submit. If you did it all right, you will be getting a welcome email from the Met Art affiliate program. Well done! Now using the Affiliate ID you got in the email, along with the username and password you set up, you can now easily join any other CCBill run affiliate program. Try it out on the MPL Studios site. Click here and go to the MPL Studio Cash affiliate site and then click the Sign Up page. See those 3 boxes again? Enter your details and click 'Retrieve Data'. All your details should now be filled in and all you have to do is click 'Submit' to join that program. Told you it was simple.
